Training plays a vital role in the success of the micro enterprises proposed in the project. The training includes technical training to Swarozgaris manning the enterprise, managerial and softskills training for enterprise mangers as well as for the members of the apex body. In addition to the above, for the successful implementation and sustenance of the enterprises, a few qualified women with progressive attitude and commitment will be selected to work as Change Agents or Resource Counsellors.
These people will be given intensive 10 day training consisting of technical and managerial inputs. These Resource Counsellors will pay a key role in the success of the project. The technical training will be provided by authorized agencies, while IIM may play a key role in providing training for imparting marketing and management skills to these Resource Counsellors who inturn impart the same to the Swarozgaris. The training infrastructure available at Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Food Processing and Nutrition centre will be used for the training purpose.
